Mini Mister Storage

Hi there.  It's Karon, from Karon's Krafty Korner, to share a little storage idea with you.  Thanks for having me visit each month Pam.

I expect you have already come across this idea, but I was playing around with some florist foam the other day and realised you really can use this for so many things.

I decided to make a little storage square for my Mini Misters.

First off you need a piece of florist foam.  Depending on how many misters you have, then you can choose what size you want.  I used a piece that is 3.5" square and 2.5" deep.

Now all you have to do, is get your mini mister and squash it down into the foam.  I made 9 holes.  It's great, because it really does just form around the mister.

Next up is to decorate it.  I recommend putting paper around the four sides and on the bottom, to protect the floral foam, otherwise you will end up sticking a nail/finger or desktop objects in the foam and it will soon get tatty.  You could also make a small box to place it in if you wish.

I then added some more paper round all the side and bottom edges.  And then finished it off by stamping a butterfly.

And there you have it - a great piece of storage.  Just think of all the different items you could do this for!

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting.
