A Car Thank You Card

Hi Everyone,

Lisa from Lisa's Craft Room here sharing my project for this month. Thank you Pam for having me and I hope you are doing well. I must say this card is way overdue. My son attended driving school and his instructor and the instructor's mom were so awesome. He did all of his lessons with the instructor and the driving school with the mom. He had class on his birthday and the mom surprised him with a homemade cake that the whole class shared. I thought that was so sweet of her.

So, we decided to make them a homemade card to mail to them thanking them for everything. Of course I'm just getting to it now with everything else going on. In a way, it's nice that it is late because that way they will be surprised when they receive it. I don't think they would expect anything now. So I got out my Gypsy and found a car on the Just Because Cards cartridge. I enlarged it to 9.87 width and 7.00 height, copied it and welded it together. I cut it out on white card stock. Then I cut them out separately so that I could adhere them onto the base along with the car parts. For the front of the card, I used stickles on the windows and muffler. I printed out the name of the driving school from my computer. On the other side of the card, I put all the car parts on but just used a marker for the windows.

I think it came out ok. I have a hard time making manly cards. LOL Thanks for stopping by. I know I really have to find the time to start posting more. Sorry about that. I do a lot of commenting on others blogs though :) Have a great day and Thanks again Pam.
