This is Jen, from 3 Cats and a Bug. A warning before we begin, there are a lot of photos!
My parent's took my nephew to see Thomas The Tank Engine over at The Domes. My Mom wanted me to make a book for Jordan, so that he could look at the pictures they took that day. She must have planned this out ahead of time, because she took pictures from the time she picked him up until they got back home!
I started out with 6 pieces of cardboard and 2 heavy pieces of chip board, all cut to 8 X 8. Because this book is for a 2 1/2 year old (he's very careful with his books!! Not your typical 2 year old.) I made tabs spelling out his name so he could easily turn each page.
Before I started adding the paper, I inked all my edges.
I used both red line tape and my pink atg gun to make sure the patterned paper held up to little fingers.

Between the red and blue mat I made a pocket. I laminated the receipts for the Dome's and the gift shop.

Backside of N...(it's a shame that his love of shoveling will probably end about the time he's big enough to actually help! lol)
Inside back cover... (A photo I got from the Dome's website, it didn't print well, so I will just have to take my Grandson next year and replace that one!)
Outside back cover...(this was also laminated because it's on the back of the cover. This is more for when he's older, right now he wouldn't care.)
All put together with 1in wires using my cinch...
There was a lot of inking, faux stitching and I used a lot of liquid pearls in this project. Instead of posting even more pictures of each detail, you can click on each picture to enlarge it. :)
Have an awesome day!
