Hi Crafty Friends :)
Today is my turn to share my DT project with you all here and at my blog Adelescreations.com

I need more birthday cards for my stash, so I made this card from a simple frame design.

The picture below shows the screen shot of the elements used to make this card

I started off with a simple frame, gave it an outer offset, duplicated it, then welded the two outer offset shapes to make the card base.
I next used the same frame shape, again creating an offset but this time I also did an intenal offset, then discarded the outer offset, this made the base layer for my frame to sit on.

Next step was to use a gold sketch pen to write the "Happy Birthday" which I typed using the Text Tool, I selected the text to cut, and the text frame to no cut.
I switched the pen back to my blade when the text was sketched and set the Cameo to cut the outer text frame only, hiding all the text before cutting.

Lastly I assembled the frame with foam squares to give dimension, along with my text frame, the flourishes were inked using Barn door distress ink.

If you would like the Studio file for this card you can get it HERE

This card was quick and simple to make :)
I hope you enjoyed my DT project for today

Thanks Pam for having me again this month :)

Happy Crafting

Hugs
Adele
