Inspired by Stamps

Hello everyone! Carole here from On My Craftroom Wall sharing this card I made from inspiration I received from assorted blogposts I've seen over the past week. The main inspiration for this card came from my need to use the tons of stamps sets I've bought recently, but had yet to use. My other inspiration was to use my stash. I decided to make a birthday card since I never seem to have enough on hand!

This card is an A2 size. I made a card base from red cardstock and matted it leaving a 1/4" of the base showing. I stamped flower and leaf images on coordinating patterned paper and fussy cut the images. I used tons of pop dots to assemble the flowers. Twine was used for the stems and decorative border punched paper was used in two corners. I placed small strips of scraps in the alternating corners and added a butterfly punched from more coordinating patterned paper. I stamped a Birthday sentiment on additional patterned paper and punched it out. Using the same punch, I punched a coordinating shadow and offset it. My final touch was to add a bit of Stickles in the center of the flowers.

I was thrilled that I got to use stamps from two new sets I recently purchased AND paper from a pack I purchased I don't know when!

Supplies:
Cardstock and patterned paper-Stampin Up
Stamps-Card word Puzzle (CTMH) and Happiest Birthday Wishes (Stampin Up)
Ink-Stampin Up
Punches-Martha Stewart (butterfly), Stampin Up (decorative corner and sentiment)
Stickles-Cinnamon (Ranger)
Twine-The Twinery

I hope you'll break open a pack of stamps you've never used and make something with it. Totally fun!
Thanks for stopping by,
Carole
