Cupid Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth form 217 Creations. I decided to lift my spending ban this past weekend to replenish my Valentine's Day papers.  I found this paper at Archivers.  It is from Pebbles "With Love" collection.  I have never bought their paper before, but I have to say I am seriously impressed.  It has a nice weight and the prints in this collection are to die for. This card is 4 by 4.  I love how simple and easy it is.
I started by making my mats at 3.75 and 3.5 inches.  I then took the strip off the bottom of the paper where the SKU and product names are.  Isn't this XOXO strip too cute?! I crinkled it up and then used my sewing machine on a zig zag to stitch it down.
Next I cut this adorable cupid and its layers at 3.0 inches (real size off) from Sweetheart Cricut Cartridge. I then used pop dots to raise him up and placed him on the card.
My final step was to mount my matting to my 4 by 4 kraft card base. See I told you quick and easy.
I hope you enjoyed my card.  As always thank you so much for taking the time to comment and follow us here at the Bug Bytes and on my personal blog at 217 Creations.
