'Twas The Night Before Christmas Card

Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations. Lately I have been trying to use some of my cartridges that have been sitting.  BUT I just had to have the new Imagine Santa's Village cartridge. If you own an Imagine, I would rank this up high on "the must have list" with Lori's Garden and JT.  I love the look and feel of printed Kraft cardstock!
I started by taking an 8 1/2 by 11 in Kraft cardstock and placed it on the Imagine mat 1/4 inch in and 1/4 in down to the right.  Then I chose the 8.5 by 11 rectangle inside the Imagine Shapes.  I chose to fill the rectangle with this pattern. Then I set the Imagine to print only.
Next I used white textured cardstock to print and cut this Santa image at 4.0 inches in layers. I only used a few of the layers.  I usually print and cut all of them on an image and then I assemble and decide which ones to use. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Gathered Twigs.
Next I used a top note shape from Art Philosophy cartridge, using more prints from Santa's Village.  I cut the image at 1/4 inch increments. I used pop dots to raise the layers.  The sentiment is from Pink By Design "Old Time Christmas" and was stamped using Distress Ink Gathered Twigs.
Finally I tied a strip of gold organza along the side.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and subscribe here at the Bug Bytes and on my personal blog at 217 Creations.
