Autumn you are here...

Greeting Friends, Kymberlee here from The Paper Midwife

One should never wait until the 11th hour to try to be creative. Usually I am a "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of gal. It didn't work out so well for me tonight. I am not going to give you some sad pity story. Suffice to say I didn't budget my time very well this last week. My attempts at creating something photo worthy were all dismal failures this evening so, instead of a great new project I am going to share with you something I did this time last year. This project took so much time it is worth revisiting.

I bought this straw like pumpkin at Tuesday Morning for a couple of bucks. MANY hours of quilling flowers and more than a few sore muscles later, I hot glued my quilled creations onto the pumpkin. Cut a few leaves out of felt , glittered a few up and hot glued those on there too, added some ribbon and...tada...a  lovely fall centerpiece!

I promise a NEW well thought out project next month when I get a better grip on all the
NEW BLESSINGS in my life right now :)

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." - George Eliot

  8. I know exactly what you mean! Maybe it is this week's moon? That aside, I love this! It is "new" to me and would very much like to "scraplift" it! Your colors are wonderful.
