Stamp Organization
The last 3 days I spent time on organizing my stamps. I had it previously in cd cases which I kept in the ikea cube (plastic cube drawer). I found it difficult to search and some of the other stamps were too big to fit in the cd cases. So I decided to change.
Now since I had already organized once before my rubber stamps were already off the wooden block.
I usually microwave the rubber stamps for 12 secs and then immediately remove the stamp with the foam which comes off easily and sticks to block. If the foam is cheap and tears then you can always remove completely and mount it on EZ mount. I also remove the decal on the top and paste it on cd.
Now as to how I organized
I used transperencies to stick/cling the stamps on - one side to stick the stamps and the other side I stamped if there was no decal or image so that I know where the stamps go on.
Then I slipped the whole sheet into a sheet protector and placed/filed them into a ring binder. I used 3 " and 2 " binders
Now I can easily flip and get to my stamps easily.
And next week I am going to organize my cuttlebug embossing folders

Stamping with Fun Foam---A Christmas Wreath
Hi all! This is Jeannie from Nonna's Scraps. It is so wonderful to be back with my friends! Don't you agree that this is an amazing place? Thanks for letting me visit and share a fun project today!
I am into the Christmas mode. How about you? I love making stamps with Fun Foam on my Cricut Expression and would like to share a sweet holiday card made using this technique.The wreath is so quick and easy, you won't believe it!
Cricut Expression 1 or 2
Cricut cartridge with a leaf shape
Cricut cartridge with a circle shape
Fun foam
Xyron adhesive
Red Stickles
Tim Holz Distress Inks--3 shades of green
Perfect Pearls Irridescent
Gold Ribbon
Sentiment stamp of choice
A-2 card background
The following videos will describe how I prefer to cut the fun foam on my Cricut. The stamp that is cut is not the same one used for this card. It is, however the exact technique.
For the card:
1. Cut the leaf at 1" actual size.
2. Cut the circle at 2" actual size. This creates a template for the wreath shape. Trace with a pencil, centered on the front of the card.
3. Using the darkest green, stamp around the outside of the circle (widest edge to drawn line) and then inside of the circle (widest edge to drawn line). Vary the angle.
4. Repeat #3 using the medium green.
5. Repeat #3 using the lightest green. While damp, dust with Perfect Pearls.
6. Add Red Stickles berries.
7. Add Gold bow.
8. Stamp with sentiment.

Texturize & Embellish!

This is Pam from Papillon Digital Designs & The BugBytes. Thanks Allison and Caroline for having me on as a guest designer today at Paper Crafting Weekend Challenge.
Today's challenge is to use the things around you maybe the spider webs you got to decorate your home for Halloween (like I have done here) , spiders anything even ribbons or buttons to embellish your project and add texture.
Here is my card
I have used a plain black cardstock, silver wired ribbon (which I got from Costco - isn't it pretty?) , some buttons, a feather and the central image is from Dover publications - Greetingcards - which I printed out and cut out with some decorative scissors. I love Dover images.
Then I took a bit of cobwebs we get at store for decor and applied it to the cardstock. It looks better if you xyron or dilute tacky glue with water and apply with a foam brush allow to dry and then stretch out the spider web. Using ATG gun or tape leaves some marks which can be seen otherwise.

After applying the spiderweb I then added the ribbon (like a cross). Then I took some buttons and further embellished them with rhinestones and stickles and placed 2 buttons on the ribbon with glue dots. Then I took a feather and attached that and placed the center button. The rhinestones and stickles were added to bring some of the color from the image into the card else I felt it would stick out like a sore thumb.
I inked the image - matted it with black cardstock with corners rounded and then glued it with foam dots onto the card
As for the inside of the card I used the CTMH stamp on white cardstock. Again cut it out with decorative scissors and inked with red ink and added some stickles and then glued it on to the inside of the card with foam dots. I just placed a bit of silver ribbon to give pop
And that my friends is my simple Halloween card embellished with things to add a bit of texture. Now you can even give an illusion of texture for e.g I could have taken the spider web spread it around and then sprayed with paint (mist) or glimmer mist and the web would have acted as resist and could have got the texture of the web. Witch Hat - Treat Box
Hey Everyone!
LisaB here from Rather B Scrappin.
I am excited share this treat box for The bugbytes.
Thanks to Paper Phenomenon for this idea
You can get two of these boxes on one 12x12 sheet of paper.
I used tag, boxes and more cricut cartridge for both the triangle box and the circles.
I cut them out at 4.75
After cutting out the shape, score on the score marks.
Notice the little hole in my box. No clue what that is, so I hid it on the other boxes I made.
Glue the one flap to create the triangle box with an opening. In the picture above it is the flap that is on the right side of the picture.
Then cut the circles for the bottom of the hat. You will need two, and again can get two hats out of 1 sheet of 12x12 paper.
The circles are cut at 5 1/2 and 4 1/2
Cut little marks on the round the edges of the circles. Then fold up.
Attach the two circles together and then the bottom part of the triangle box
Decorate to look like a hat. I decided to emboss the top part of the hats, which needs to be done before assembling the box.

Today is our festival of lights called Deepavali - Deepa means lights.

What it means to us is new dress, lots of sweets and savories, fire crackers and lights/lamps - lights for the season starting from today for a month till we reach another festival called karthikai.

A Book Of Lists
Hello my scrappy friends, this is Kate from Sassy and Scrappy. Recently I've heard a lot of ideas for capturing all the fun and excitement of the upcoming holiday season; daily journals, a picture a day, etc. And while I like all of those projects, they don't seem attainable for me...I'm just being realistic. But I found another fabulous and interesting way to document the joy of the season, lists!
Yep that's right, lists. Now I will admit I love to make lists, yes it's part of my Type A personality, but these list are more fun than the general "to do" lists. Topics included in this file are:' The perfect Thanksgiving meal does not include', 'The people in my life who are probably the most thankful for me', 'The perfect winter day includes', 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas when', 'Childhood Christmas traditions I'll always remember', and many more. You can find this ebook at Ella Publishing and lots of other great stuff.
Now confession time, I had to scrap the idea of a tutorial today when I realized I didn't really know how to use my Cinch. It turns out I need a little more practice, lol. Anyway, here is the final product.
I think it will be really fun to not only answer these questions myself, but to ask family members to do it as well. I can either add pictures to this book and create a "real" mini album or remove the lists and add them to my scrapbook.

Now for this hop I decided to make a table decor - haunted house as my project. This file was cut with Silhouette SD using the haunted house 3d file available at their site. The rest of the images except the ghost can be found at the site too. I have used spiderweb/cobweb which we can buy at party store to further embellish. I also placed the battery candle light inside the house

Now for the Giveaway part of it. It is my favorite book Dover Publications book. It had a cd from which you can print out images and add it to your card and if you have a machine like silhouette or knk or black cat or the zing then Oh! the fun multiplies as you can do so much more with these.
