Cricut Imagine!

Well with HP 's press release I wonder what is going to happen to Imagine! Though HP may not be getting out of printer business there has been rumors floating around! But with at least one of PC's employees who were involved so much with Imagine being let go - one wonders! Lol I did not like the Imagine and it is given me lots of pain - physical as I have a whole new slipped disc because of this baby! and hours of frustration but still since I payed so much for it (release) I wonder along with everyone what is going on? and what is in the future! I am beginning to cherish my dear little cuttlebug, my cricut E and my weaving looms and those red adhesive tapes so much. These were nice lovely crafty products and still are  before their software and electronics department took over and messed all the new products up. Am I glad that I have a backup systems which are not PC! Well guess that's how times are. Many had the whole sizzix systems and then electronic die cutting came and we all lined up and now something new is on the horizon! But thinking about it we all left sizzix because we do not want to store umpteen dies! and doesn't the same apply for cartridges as well. Storage is a problem! and with people so much into computers and tablets nowadays - seems to be a more efficient system when you have files out there! But still I cherish my cuttlebug!

  1. Pam, I work for HP and the announcement was for the PSG group (personal systems group) which is desktops/laptops/workstations. The printers are under IPG (Imaging and Printing Group). The printing division is not affected. Hope that helps clear things up! Keep using your Imagine...the ink will still be around!

  2. I am so regretting purchasing my Imagine at launch. Never again will I buy at launch!!! I have not had any major problems (knock on wood) but I was under the impression that I could design with Cricut carts (combine several carts and weld) and fill in with colors from I carts and print then cut. Beginning to think that day is never coming.......
