Ahoy Me Hearties Bag and Video

Buccaneer + Life's A Party = L*O*V*E! Hi everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations! I so excited to be back here at The Bug Bytes.  I decided to play with my new Buccaneer Cartridge. I hope everyone likes this fun project plus the video on how to fold this fun and functional bag form Life's A Party.
I started by folding the Backpack (which I think is more like a bag) from Life's A Party.  I cut is at 8.5 inches.   I filled the image on my Gypsy with the Buccaneer cartridge for the anchor paper. I inked the edges with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. I have added the video for a demonstration on how to fold this bag/backpack.
It can be a little tricky but I have a few tips and tricks on how to fold this adorable and functional bag.
Next I cut my Pirate image from Buccaneer.  I cut this with layers on at 2.5 inches.

Sometimes I don't use all the layers when I go to reassemble the image.  In this case I chose to not use the face layer.  It is possible to delete those unwanted layers on the Imagine, but I frequently don't know which ones I want looking on my little screen, so I print and cut them all!
I also cut a tag from Fabulous Finds at 2.0 inches.  I filled the image with another print from the Buccaneer cartridge.
I stamped a sentiment from Pink By Design's new stamp set A Pirate's Life. It says, "Ahoy Me Hearties".
This is what the stamp set looks like.  Remember you can click on an image to enlarge.  Look at that font set and sentiments!
I tied some orange ribbon and some hemp twine through the holes of the front of the bag.  I threaded the tag through before knotting it off.
Here are some different views so you can have a good feeling about how this bag looks in person.
As always, I appreciate comments and followers both here at the Bug Bytes and on my personal blog at 217 Creations.

Thanks!!! The cartridge to make the bag is Life's A Party. It is a Legacy cartridge so any Cricut can cut that image! I just used the Imagine for the paper! :)
