Simple Tag for the Utah swarm

Made a simple tag for the Utah swarm. I raided my supplies and didn't have time to go shop . So with black, purple and orange plain papers,  leaf stamp, black pen, stickles, distress ink , gold pen, ribbon/cord and some bling here is a simple card. For the range since it seemed plain I decided to make my own pattern with first stamping with the red ink  -  fired brick or spicy marmalade  not sure- well I just see the color and stamp (I am sure if Beth ie makeupgirl217 sees this she'll tell the exact color.  I think she can recite them in sleep and prompt even Tim Holtz if he were to forget :) .
& that reminds me of Martha Stewart standing in HSN and forgetting while her MR guy Alan was it? prompted her. That was so funny. But poor thing I'l chalk that u to old age. We all get there eventually!!)
The tag is from tags boxes and more and the hat I think is now in more than one cartridge. Happy Haunting has it and so does MS seasonal I think. After stamping I smeared the leaf with stickles and then outlined. The smeared stickles looks so cool - makes it grungy glittery and the outline stands up. End result - paper looks nice but my poor hand!!  As if this was not enough the gold pen was not flowing well and I had a sharpie that was not working and it's felt was clear so guess who had the bright idea of exchanging nibs. I took out the felt in the black sharpie and all I can say is now I am going o the swarm with black hands :) Of course not.,, Alcohol cleans it up good!! But.. What a day! When we are pressed for time - Things Happen!!!! Spider is also stickled with black. I wanted the web to stand out and so used liquid paper :) Whatever tools at hand goes!! Well enough talking already!!! Here is the pic

  1. Pam these are so cute but so much work to mass produce. You have fun and take lots of photos! Wish I was there with you and Beth!
