Supplies
"From My Kitchen" Cricut Cartridge
1" & 1-3/4" Circle Punches
2" Scallop punch
Transparency sheet
Six 12" x 12" double-sided cardstocks for the pages
Black and white cardstock for letters and punches
Stamps
Black Ink
12 - 4" x 6" Ruled Index Cards
Embellishments for cover
Binding comb
Directions:
- Cut 12 tab cards (4 of each tab location) from the printed cardstock using the "From My Kitchen" cartridge (pages 48, 49 & 50) at the 4-1/4" setting. I was able to get two tab cards from each 12 x 12 sheet.
- Cut two rectangles out of the transparency to match the size of tab cards for the front and back covers
- Embellish the front cover according to taste
- Punch out 12 scallops and 12 of each size of circles for the tabs
- Cut out 1" letters for the book title and each page. I used the letters from the "From My Kitchen" cartridge
- Add index cards, months and scallops & circles to tab pages
- Stamp according to each month
Finally, bind all of the pages and the covers together. I used a binding comb machine that I had from a "previous" life (that machine is about a century old!!!). This little book makes a fabulous and useful Christmas gift! Hope you enjoyed it and it will inspire you to make a bunch! Have a great and blessed day!
