Lemon Head!

Ok everyone, Danielle here (a.k.a. FitterTwit of FunandmentalChanges.com) bringing you my VERY special scrapbook layout commemorating my completion of a 40 day cleanse. In actuality, I haven't completed a 40 day cleanse yet. The longest I've survived The Master Cleanse was 25 days. Do we have any other cleansers or "Lemon Heads" out there??? Don't know what a cleanse is? Feel free to click on the link above, it will take you to my blog to read more about The Master Cleanse. Hey, I thought this was a Cricut post... hahahahahaha! On with the Cricut fun!!!

When I found out that we were going to be highlighting the Just Because Cards Cricut cartridge, I will be quite honest.... I didn't have a clue what was on it. I added it to my cartridge collection right after it was released, and I never even opened it. YIKES! But as I was browsing through the idea book, the lemons JUMPED off the page. Then, I see the glass of lemonade and well, this scrapbook page kind of made itself.

I used a green gel pen with the gel pen holder attachment to write the page title using Planton Schoolbook and then colored it in with Copic markers. I did the same with the lemon once all the pieces of it were cut. In real life and up close, that lemon looks real... hahahahahaha!

Then for the glass of lemonade, I used all the laying pieces. WOW... it was a lot of pieces, but totally worth it, wouldn't you agree? Tip: My background piece was originally white, but with the white polka dots, it didn't work, so I colored it in with a black marker. Easy Fix! I gotta say, I'm lovin Just Because Cards! Now, here is the beauty of using this cartridge with the Gypsy.... when placing all your items for one image (glass + layer 1 + layer 2 + layer 3) grouped together and size them together before finally breaking them apart to work with on the mat, everything stays proportionate to all the other pieces. Let me just say that it saved me A TON of time placing everything on the mat and sizing it BEFORE breaking the project up into layers on my Gypsy. I have included a link to the Gypsy cut file on the top right margin of my blog marked "Master Cleanse Layout". Just PS and JBC were used for this layout. I hope you all like it... I'm sure I will be using this cut file again... I might just devote an entire scrapbook to cleansing... HAHAHAHAHA, who's with me!?!
That's all for today, have a great one!!
