Stationary Box

Good Morning Fellow Crafters. I am Denine from http://pumpkinspiceblog.blogspot.com/ , one of the Gyptians, and very excited to be posting my project today on The Bug Bytes.. (big smiles here)

Well, I recreated a project. Most of you have probably seen these awesome Stationary Boxes. I had been searching for a tutorial and finally found one at Splitcoaststampers. It really takes more time to make the cards and embellishments than the box itself. It is so fun too.. it just appears before your eyes.

I challenges myself to use a different color scheme today. I am normally the girly girl type of combinations. I really liked how this turned out.

I used Sentimentals for the Ink Embellishment, the Phrase "Open Me", the Tags and the Note Cards. I use my CDS to make the cards a 5 x 5. Note: This size is a bit big for the box but it still works.

This is how the Stationary Box opens up... Take the top off and poof...

Isn't it cute. Holds, cards, mini cards, tags, a pen, postage and a note pad.

Here are some other pictures of the items.

4 - 3" tags

4 - 3" x 3" mini note cards

4 - A2 cards (recommended). I used 5" x 5" with envelopes

and a note pad with 10 - 12 blank pages. I just put the slip of paper in so you could get a visual on what the little pocket was for. POSTAGE!!

Really fun to make. If you have not made one yet, give it a shoot. It is so fun and then you have a little something for your craft desk to make you smile... or gift it!

I am actually thinking of writing notes in the cards and telling my husband to send me one every now and again.. LOL

Have a great Day!!

Hugs,
Denine

UPDATE:  Oh My Goodness.. Thank you all so much for your sweet comments.  I posted the link up above for the tutorial at Splitcoaststampers.  I will get the DS upload soon.
Big Blogger Hugs to Everyone!!
