Problem with Base Camp in Gypsy

So did you all enjoy the double projects today ? Dicegrrl  aka Angji 's card was lovely wasn't it? Tomorrow is Denine's turn.  Look at how colorful this blog looks already..What awesome projects all are coming up with.. WOW!
But before I go I just wanted to share with you a find in the MB

Some letters especially the caps seem to have a problem in problem. But some can be worked around by not grouping it.

Yes you can weld without grouping by clicking the image press weld and then next just like in CDS. Grouping just makes it easy that's all.

Thanks to the MB where this problem was brought up. I do not have the base camp cartridge as it is very like Plantin  so was not aware till now.

But here is my band aid fix if you want to still use the cartridge (shh.. much better to just get plantin). This unfortunately will not fix all the letters as the cartridge is pretty messed up. Either use plantin or CDS as CDS is ok with this. Just the G girl hates going on a base camp lol. Very uptown our girl..

The word was HERBERT and the problem was in the H here (note many letters are messed to)

So I just added the ERBERT and kerned it to -0.2 (negative )

and then welded it. Then tapped out (cursor set to same size as the other letter) added the H - moved it and pressed weld and then tapped on ERBERT to and all welded fine
