Copic Markers

was the topic in G MB a few days back. Fun thing to color  on die cuts wouldn't  it. Also an advantage is that since it can be used on most surfaces you can match up. I do believe that you can load it in the machine with a special fixture but  haven't tried it. Warning for new users - this will void your cricut machine warranty - one year is it? Not sure. With G sometimes causing problems this is a thing we must be aware of .
Anyway I haven't tried cricut markers with copic. Have to look to see if  they will bleed and if there is any alcohol in it LOL which will set my house on fire if I heat.
I love gina k design luxury  line papers as they don't bleed and I use either memento ink or heat set archivers fine line as they are so juicy that intricate details stamps through. As for the markers sketch markers are better in case you want to add on airbrushing which is nice when you want to color match lots of stuff in a page eg maybe a metal .
I got my set at dickblick when there was a sal. You can get at jerrysartarama when you have coupon or cheapjoes , utrecht,  artwarehouse and miserarts. Look out for these shops as they are art suppliers and will have lots of materials cheaper than buying from Local stores even with shipping and when you have coupon - will be best choice. I chose the manga anime collection as they are more vivid colors which look good on stamps. Will add later maybe one or two at a time.
But remember you can use other mediums on stamps too like chalks and pastel. Just set it later so that it does not smudge with a fixative or you can even use clear glaze like diamond glaze or any liquid glaze to give that sticker finish.
Get the colorless blender which is a must as not only does it erase boo boos but also gives interesting effects
when added to colored areas - it may form the spots on the deer skin or giraffe shin or bubble in your water or stripes in wood. So explore on spare sheet and adopt
Of course watch youtube for maybe tons of videos on the subject. In this I didn't as I can usually paint and this is similar to sharpie and prismacolor which we use as painters but maybe i should as sure there will be

  1. You are so smart....
    On many subjects!

Let me ask. How often do you use these Copics?
Did you use markers before you got the Copics?
