Blogger has added pages now haha which we can add and choose it become navbar. If only this had come 4 months earlier - it would have saved me lots of time spent in code hacking and learning and creating static pages.
Well - guess nothing we learn is ever waste but would have just saved me a much needed time.
This is atleast good news to those who did not have navbar and wanted it without doing complicated hacking. Guess blogger will release more and more features to keep up with wordpress.
Does that mean we have to change what we currently have? or are we good as we are?:))
ReplyDeleteYeah, but I can't figure out how to add pages to it, except to publish new pages and make sure the "automatically add" is selected. I don't want to add new pages, I just want to put a few pages up there for now, that I've already made...
ReplyDeleteWish I had the time and inclination to hack so I could do one like yours. :) I'll wait I guess and see if they make it easier to figure out.
michele - before you add a page - if you have not added any you will get the option of where you can add either in sidebar or top. If you haven't done from that then you can always go to layout and find the page element and then edit from that pop up window you can select the option you want.

No - we need no do that . But can if you want to. Just copy and paste the content from old one to the new one and then delete the navbar element from the layout elements (which will be the html gadget below the header)
