A few days back I had posted - " After update 0155 you can have the image go off the mat and it will also cut that way, but the maximum image size is still limited by the mat. "
It is true. But forgot to add this piece - Say you choose mat size 12 x 12 and image increases to only so much and you want it a little bit more. You can then choose 12 x 24 and then increase the image size as then the delimit will be 12 x 24. Then you go back to 12 x 12 and you will have the image - though part of it will be cut off. But sometimes that is precisely what you want - some piece cut off but still large as you can have it - then this is the way to go about it.
I have done this is and it is a wonderful feature when making layouts. Just be sure to keep a scissors or a knife ready, because as Pam says it will only cut to the edge of the mat, so you will need to trim. Love this feature as it saves paper.
ReplyDeleteI have done this too. But last night I wanted to rotate the image so I could make it bigger and still cut all of it, but in 12x12 it wouldn't let me increase the size, even when it was rotated.
ReplyDeleteSo I went to 12x24, increased the size to what I wanted, rotated it and went back to 12x12. I was able to cut it quite a bit bigger than I would have had I limited myself to 12x12 without my G.
yes dear rotation does not change it . This is shown - oops - will be shown in the Tuesday Treats video on a ourse (I already did the video and am editing LOL)
